OHIO BRUSH CREEK SWEEP

Every year since 1992, many volunteers have joined us for a canoe based clean-up of Ohio Brush Creek. Adams SWCD and Adams Brown Recycling provide the canoes, life jackets, and trash bags for what has become an eagerly anticipated Spring event. After a day of hard work, the creek is left cleaner than when we started.

We could not conduct this event without the support of dedicated volunteers. For a peek into what the day holds, please view the photos below.

In 2019, we removed 1334 pounds of garbage from 3 miles of Ohio Brush Creek. This included 332 pounds of garbage, 860 pounds of tires (16 car and 1 tractor), 142 pounds of metal (100 steel and 42 aluminum).
