Scioto Brush Creek

The Scioto Brush Creek watershed is located in southern Ohio.  Scioto Brush Creek flows into the Scioto River near the town of McDermott in Scioto County.

The Scioto Brush Creek watershed is located in Scioto and Adams counties and drains nearly 273 square miles.  The dominant land use in the watershed is forest (73%).  Pasture/hay is next most common (10%), followed by various stages of developed land and scrub/shrub land at 5% each.

The main stems of South Fork Scioto Brush Creek and Scioto Brush Creek are frequently used for recreational activities such as swimming, boating or fishing.
